MORE INFO TO COME

GCC students and faculty accomplish great things throughout the year and on March 30, 2017 we invite the entire college community to recognize our best work and brightest minds at the second annual Scholars Symposium – a celebration of inquiry and scholarship. Students, faculty, staff, community leaders and friends, some from afar, will be sharing and demonstrating scholarly achievements in all disciplines through presentations, poster exhibits and performances. The Scholars Symposium is the opportunity to expand horizons, hone presentation skills and engage in our collective brain power for all to enjoy and to appreciate.

John Covach will be lecturing on The History of Rock and Roll. He’s the Director Institute for Popular Music, Professor of Music Theory, Chair, The College Department of Music, Mercer Brugler Distinguished Teaching Professor, The College Department of Music, Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester.
